Cool project...the only better would be if it was a Post car!.
Toro air cleaner base?.
What's the origin of the block?.
I recall GM built some in the late 60's for Can-Am racing but thought they were destroked 455's...we discussed one here in a thread a couple years back?.

Very nicely done. I too would like to see what she does at the track!

Bench seat, 4 speed, steel wheels, AL block...

I think there was a recent article about the engine in one of the musclecar magazines, if I'm not mistaken.

Very cool car. That interior really pops. Also like the idea of the VOE too.

The Blocks were from Oldsmobile not very many made some heads are still floating around, I havent seen any blocks though. In 1972 Vic Hickey built the Oldsmobile Banshee mid engine powered desert race car, (Cutlass) powered by one of these engines it was driven by the actor James Garner along with others.

This car is claimed to be a low mileage 4 speed, W27 rear, real W31 with experimental engine added. Check this site and tell me if those claims are legit.

I have known the owner and his brother for many years. They are the owners of Inline Tube, which is right here in my neighborhood.

They do spectacular work and I can tell you that this car looks even better in person.

Hopefully they will be joining us in November at the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals!
