Mothers Day

It is mothers day and I thought it would be nice to salute all of those moms out there who support/tolerate our obsession with cars. I looked for a card however the people at Hallmark don't seem to have a mothers day card for car guys. Here is my salute, thanks mom.

Mom, I am sorry for using the Kirby vacuum to suck old gasket material out of the engine valley; just poor judgement on my part.

I regret using the meat thermometer to check the true temperature of the coolant.

I did not know your delicates were in the washer when I decided to wash my greasy car rags.

I should have told you the Midnight Drags were illegal before I got caught; thanks for telling the Phoenix Police what a nice boy I was.

Mom you often told me this car thing was a phase I would grow out of. Well I am now 50 (almost as old as Sam Griffith)and I still play with cars. Thanks for putting up with me.

If you can go see your mom today. Don't forget to do a big burnout in front of her house, just to tell her thanks.
