Default tire date

Hey Gents,

Can anyone help with a tire date? Its a Goodyear Speedway Wide Treat off a '69 Vette. The code is JE01B01. It is a DOT tire.

Thanks,
Dan

Dan,

Just saw this thread on team Chevelle that may be of some help to you....

http://www.chevelles.com/forums/showthread.php?t=328315

Based on that, it appears that your tire was made in November of 69.

Martin,

Have you tried inquiring of Michelin Customer Service? (Michelin now owns the Uniroyal brand). I know some people have not had any luck inquiring of them, but I certainly did.

J=1969
E=November
O=Goodyear
1=Akron, OH
B=F70
01=Sidewall configuration and color

To my knowledge, Firestone and Uniroyal code information is not known.

Regards,

Mark
