Yes, I live south of Bend about 30 minutes from Sisters. How can I help?

Thanks Jim,

My wife and I went on a leap of faith and came back very happy. I just had email pictures of a very well kept Class C motorhome. It is a 1982 Coachmen that is nice 22' on a Ford chassis. It has a 351 Windsor small block with 85,000 miles. Really set up very nicely. The previous owner placed rear airbags, a welded to the frame tow hitch, laminate wood flooring, a rear bed set up, new microwave, and the list goes on. He really added more to it than what we paid for it. It handled just fine back to the Boise, Idaho area we live in. Since selling my '99 short bed gas engine truck, I sold the short bed cab over camper and got this. Here are some pics.

That looks like fun. What adventures do you have planned for it?

Great question Sam. Since it is only 22 feet long we can get into just about any spot open in the state parks near us. This makes a fun, quick, weekend trip easy.

We like going up to Sun Valley and also seeing the Sawtooth Mountains in Stanley, Idaho.

Just a four hour drive from home.

For the places we have not been we want to see
Yellowstone National Park

We enjoyed the stay there and took in the downtown scene. It snowed on us on Sunday and left for home on Monday

Chuck,

I paid 5k for it which I think is a very good deal IMO. I added up all the upgrades that the previous owner spent on it and I came up 5k just in the upgrades. So I feel I bought it right. Similar rigs go for about the same or a bit more. Depends on condition. I like the class C's like this one. They are a good size without the big price tags as the class A's. The newer they are the pricer it gets. Plus the wife can use the bathroom while I drive. She also makes lunch while I am going down the road. Can't do that with a trailer. I can also pull my boat and being that it only 22' long I will have no problems launching the boat either. I like the class C's. I have had 5th wheels, trailers, class A diesels, and even a camper. It all depends what you like and plan to do. If you are thinking the class C's I had a Fleetwood product before and thought it was well built.
As for my new toy here I really like what they have done. Painted the cabinets, the new microwave, added a real nice stereo with rear speakers also, and a CB! The awning is new, the air bags in the rear help the ride, the wood flooring, custom rear sleeper. It is a great lay out. I really like the big window by the booth so you enjoy the outside while you eat. Lots of 110 outlets, new tires (6), it even has a newer Onan Generator.

It may not be the newer shiny type but for 5 grand I am quite happy!
