If someone was to have Yenko do a dealer swap on an engine - pull out the original engine and drop in an L88 - what would they have stamped the engine with? Would they also generally have stamped the tranny? Does anyone have pics that they can post or e mail? Guess the only way to document something like this would be a Yenko receipt, right? Not a COPO, so a build sheet won't help. Did Yenko keep records of items like this? Thanks in advance for any info. Scott Walters [email protected]

Anyone care to lend a hand here? If you don't want to post it, please me an e mail at [email protected]. I'm not trying to clone anything, just want to see if a car is legit.

			Thanks, Scott

I'm no expert, but I dont believe Yenko put L-88's in any cars...I hope you are not looking at the L-88 69 Yenko Chevelle in Trenton, NJ...that is the only supposed 'Yenko' I have ever heard of with an L-88....if that is the car..the car has been talked about here before..

Yenko would install a L-88, if that is what the customer wanted. There is a well known, low mileage '69 Yenko that has a Yenko installed L-88, that has all the docs from Yenko to prove.
