Default 68 L78 valve covers

Would a 68 L78 have drippers on the valve covers? I need a set for my 68 L78 motor I am building. I know original ones are impossible to find in decent shape. So I want to make sure I order the correct set.Does any one recommend an after market pair they bought?

Jason

Any chance either of these 2 sets are what you are looking for?

If not, any idea what they go to?

Jason, the left side (single hole one) in the first pic is definitely correct for 69 Camaro, and I think Nova. (definitely not Chevelle) The telling things are the little bump-out on the inside rear, the inside spark wire tower being forward of the rear bolt hole, and the temp sending unit clip on the outside lip forward of the third bolt hole.

I'm not certain on what to look for for right side ones.

I think I spent $125 for a set of originals ($100 for the driver side one) and another $250 to rechrome them.

You can buy an original set like "Unreal" did and have them rechromed or you can get the reproductions from Crane Corvettes and also Paragon Corvettes has them. The good reproduction go for $400 to $500
