Does anybody know if 3890679 is the correct GM Part Number for 1967 Chevelle Poverty Caps? Thanks, Ed

Yes.
That was it for the 14" wheels equipped on 1966-67 Chevy II,1967 Camaro,as well as 1967 Chevelle.
ALL of em without Disc brakes.

Do you happen to know the story between the different variations of these? I have a set from a 67 SS and the center is black, with the bowtie as bare metal. Basically the opposite of your cap. I've always wondered if there was any reason or if it was just a factory supply thing.

On the 66 cap the center is blacked out with the Bow Tie unpainted. The ribbed area is dark metallic gray.

On the 67 cap the Bow Tie is blacked out with the center unpainted. The ribbed area is metallic silver.
