Default New 2010 Camaro

I got e-mails from two friends who work in the Oshawa Camaro plant. The tool & die maker works in the CMM room doing three dimensional body checks. He sat in one and really liked it. The other guy, a maintenance man, tells me that a few Camaros are coming off the line and going through roll test and being final checked. With GM in the condition they are, they will be wanting to get the Camaro to dealerships as quickly as possible. They need anything that will stimulate consumer traffic through their show rooms.

This car should have been out a LONG time ago. GM has nobody to blame but themselves. They set a goal for 100,000 cars. We can only hope they meet it but with the Economy. Financing etc they probably will not. I hope they also learned there lesson with the 04 GTO and not put crazy over sticker pricing

With sales off by over 40%, I don't think you will see many dealers over pricing these cars. They will be only too glad to make a reasonable profit and a sale. We can always hope.

A local Dodge dealer has two of them sitting at the front of their lot. Been there for a while now. I certainly don't understand their thinking.

There is NO WAY I would pay anything more than 15% less than sticker. That's just the way it is. Next.

The dealership that contacted me was offering MSRP. I heard that GM is encouraging all their dealers to sell at MSRP. But I haven't seen any pricing for all the dealer add-ons, I would bet that is supposed to be their opportunity to make the bucks.
