I've had these bumper guards lying around so long that I can't remember what they were for. I posted over on the Impala site and got one response saying the top photo was 65 Impala rear and the bottom photo 66 Impala front. But when I do a search for 66 Impala fronts the photos that come up look nothing like what I have. Anyone here know what these might be for?

the top set takes a wide bumper like a Chevelle, the bottom set takes a narrow bumper like a first gen Camaro, they almost look like camaro units but the bottom has that weird desighn...what about a corvair?

1966 full-size, front for the bottom pic.
![]() The top pic (rears) could also be '66 as well, maybe '65. I need to find a picture of the ones I used to own. I see a ridge on the side that I don't remember.

Looks like they are for 66 Impala/full size. It was explained to me that the reason they look different than what I was finding when doing a search on 66 Impala is because the 66 Impala came from the factory with "bumperettes", which is what I was seeing in search results. What I have are accessory bumper guards that were used to replace the factory bumperettes.
Cool - learn something new every day! ![]() Thanks for the responses!!
