Default WOT: Anyone order a BMW lately?

...well you might be subject to serious delays. BMW North America had an accident at their sea landing yard in Jersey.

Check out the damage in this post on the Bimmer Forums

I occasionally help unload similar car ships in Tacoma,WA or Portland,OR.

That BMW ship must have gone through a heck of a storm. What with the car strapped down from every direction and brakes set, it would take a lot to cause that much havoc.......

my understanding was it is a dockside accident that occured during the offload process, when cars were not taken off correctly and the weight shifted, it wasn't an at-sea episode... I think they unloaded the lower decks before the upper decks... or something like that

WOW!
"Those cars with light damage will be repaired at the Elizabeth Receiving facility and sold through BMW's dealer network as new cars."

They will be shipped to Canada and will be listed at prices 35% higher than in the U.S. Even though our Dollar is at par with the U.S. dollar.

The photos are no longer accessible.

Looks like the Uber-Lawyers got hold of the website owner and and told him: "Your papers are not in order, Mein Herr."
