I thought I knew but I guess I don't.
Does a - - paint code mean "stripe delete" or does it have something to do with the paint itself.Reason why I ask is because I have a buddy who purchased a '69 Z/28 new off the showroom here in Monterey in late '69 and it is a "- -" code car.The car was originally Pink in color and we always just assumed that the - - code meant NO paint at all but I just can't see GM selling a car in primer so I ask you guys...the experts...what is the real meaning behind a "- -" code car?Thanks...as always! John
