Default SW tach parts/source

Bought a beatiful tach from a member here..3 5/8 diam. pedestal mount, solid state internals( no sender). What I need is the grey cased wire that comes out the back and to the motor/distributor. Inside the casing is 4 wires..black, green, red and white..the stub out the back is only about 2 inches lond and a splice on the column would look tacky ...so I want to replace the whole thing!. Anyone know where to get some?? Ill check the local home store and see what they have but I doubt it will match. Thanks

ALbert

PS where do each of the wires go..black ,red, green, and white??

My brother just got back a Sun SST 802-2 from the Tach Man with a seemless transaction. Several members suggested him and I will do the same.
I have used Williamson's before to redo the internals of an NOS Dixco 97-9 with nice results. I'm sending the Tach Man another tach shortly...

Al, I used to intern for a company that installed complete engine dynos, and the grey signal wire bundles we used were a dead ringer for the SW tach feed. I may have some laying around; let me know and I can send you out some. How many ft do you need?

Looking at my SW tach right now and it's maybe a shade darker than original when you hold the wires up to each other directly. I think you will be pleased. I'm out of town on business so drop me an email this weekend with your address to remind me.
