Default Question re: Street Rod Garage, Alabama Sutton

I am looking at buying one of their 57 Chev complete rolling chassis. Does anyone know anything good or bad about them?

I bought a Prostreet 57 (3/2003) from the same guy that GRUSUM bought his misrepresented Camaro from. Along with every mechanical part on my car being bad, the frame is broken in several places and HIDDEN with bondo and rattlecan!
I will fly to Grant,Alabama if I need to, to check out the Chassis sold at the Street Rod Garage (streetrodgarage.com). I don't want to have another bad experience buying even new parts sight unseen when I'm looking at $16-18k.

Any insight would be appreciated.
Gun-shy,
John

Ive been up there A couple times delivering and A friend I go to Church with is having them build his car for him. They seem like straight up guys from what I have been told. Grant is A little town on top of A mountain where everyone knows each other. I live about 25 miles from Grant. I can talk to my freind about his experience and let you know if you like. By the way, My oldest and bestest friend was born in Eugene Oregon.

Sorry I didn't get back sooner John, I developed computer problems and have been on the phone with some girl from bellsouth in India trying to fix it . I Talked with my friend Sunday and he highly recommends them. He said they are doing excellent work for him on his 39 Chevy.

How about an Art Morrison chassis. They are in your neck of the woods too.

Art Morrison is awesome, but for the just a little less money, there appear to be some advantages to the SRG Chassis. It is 4 by 4 box, like the factory--AM is 2 by 4. Inside the frame are trusses = stronger. Headers are 60% of the cost of AM. I have seen Morrisons, I just wonder if anyone has any experience w/SRG and they are actually more bang for my buck! I can fly to Alabama for a weekend and still pay less than AM.
