Default Joe Sapp's (JHS's) 1968 Buick Skylark GS400

Bruce,

I took my 1968 Buick Skylark GS400 out for a spin and took some pictures. I
think this car might be of interest to members as I have not seen many of
them around my neck of the woods. This is a California black plate car,
original body panels and drive train except NOM. I installed a rebuilt 1968
430ci motor from a Riviera and dressed it up as a 400. The rear bumper is
off of a 1969 GS and I had to take some liberties with the wiper and washer
switches as I could not find replacements. I also installed a Custom Auto
Sound am/fm/cd player but still have the original radio. I have included a
copy of the build sheet detailing the options. This is a great driver and it
will truly boil the tires. I think the Skylark had great lines and the color
combo sets it off.

Joe Sapp
JHS

Seldom seen, cool muscle! And wow, look at that build sheet! Where do you find that?

Nice Buick, Joe! I've always had a soft spot for them since back in the day beating my father's 455 Electra into oblivion. (I wish I hadn't done that) Anyway, that 430 engine probably gets out of it's own way pretty well! Thanks for sharing, Ed
