Seems this one was discussed here not long ago. I recall the story about the owner losing a race and then selling off the original 427. No idea how to find that thread...calling PeteLeathersack who can find any previous thread...

I've seen this car discussed before. Some folks were sad that it was getting restored to stock. I think even a member on here had parts off the car from the past?
