Hi bill, what is the stamp date on the side of the pump?
The cast ( jullien) date looks to be 22nd or 220th day of the year it was cast. Stamp date on side will be a pretty close date but must be stamped after that cast date. Sample; 22 cast date would go good with a 0349 or Feb.3rd of 1969 and so on. Also there is a cast calendar on the front face if you have to pull the fan. Hope this helps, Joe |

Joe,
Thanks for the reply. There were some numbers stamped on the body of the pump....and I forgot to photograph them I remember that the stamping started with the letter 'X' followed by four or five numbers and ended with the letter 'R'. Of course now, the pump is installed back on the car where it will be difficult, if not impossible, to see them.
