Vent Window Alignment

Can anyone help me with the an alignment problem I have on a Chevelle vent window?

If you look at the picture you can see that the glass is so poorly aligned that it hits the window frame. Is there a way to adjust this to get the window to close? Thanks in advance for any ideas on how to fix this.
