Can someone tell me if the metal vacuum line for a turbo 400 in a '70 Chevelle should have a mounting ear on it? Everything I find listed from the restoration places don't have it but the assembly manual sure makes it look like it should have a mounting tab that bolts to the back of the engine. I would think it would be mounted rigid with the short hoses on each end, but I could be wrong. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks.

yes its spot welded to the line.
the repops dont have it. they want you to use one of those wrap around clips like on the brake and fuel lines. and it dont hold to well. find an original and clean it up.

Donnie, Thanks for the reply. Heaven forbid someone reproducing a part that is accurate... Troy.
