1989 Mustang Salesmen SSC recommendations

I work with a nice guy who owned a bunch of 5.0 Mustangs in his youth. He asked me to look at A SALEEN.

Can anyone advise on things worth inspecting or a good forum to learn? Any thoughts or advice on future collectibility?
