Default '69 Camaro Hood Insulation

Did all flat hood '69 Z28 Camaros get hood insulation? I could have sworn it came with a package but my memory is slipping.

Thanks,
Dan

I believe the flat hoods had the insulation installed only when deluxe interior was ordered.

Flat hood only received insulation with deluxe interior option. All ZL2 equipped cars came with insulation.

What about the SS hoods? Did they follow the ZL2 hoods, the deluxe interior option, or if the car had A/C??? Thanks, Mark

For clarification my comment above was refering to Dan's Z28 and all flat hood cars.

"Flat hood only received insulation with deluxe interior option. All ZL2 equipped cars came with insulation."

All SS's (both big block and small block) which are not really flat hood cars(because of ornament) had hood insulation as well.

Chuck, look at the musclecars for sale section, "allcamaro" has a 69 listed with pics of the hood underside. It's a newer listing within a day or so.
