Default 1969 Nova Red Interior Carpet Color Question

I need to replace the carpeting in my 746 interior code red bucket seat 1969 Nova because some varmit created a home in the back foot well area. The car was in storage for an extended period so he had plenty of time to make it home. I have a few questions:
1. Does anybody have an original red interior Nova? Can you describe the shade of red of the carpet please. I bought a carpet kit from Classic Industries and sure enough the color is way off from the carpet in the car. They have a very bright almost lipstick color red and the carpet I pulled out is at least 3 shades darker.
2. How do you get the varmit smell out of the interior? I have everything out down to the bare metal floors and I can still smell the urine.
3. What is the best way to attach the tar sheets to the floor?
4. Does anybody have a recomendation for a good carpet kit supplier?
