Honestly, do yourself a favor and go with a Gardner system. I just purchased one for my '68 442 and I can't begin to tell you how nice it is. I think it's worth the few hundred more you pay for a correct system. And in the end, I think you almost make up for it as it fits so well, it's easy to install it yourself. There's absolutely no cutting or bending necessary.
Plus, the guys at Garnder are really great. A top notch business. I wish more businesses were run like theirs. Anyway, I know this from experience. Bought a cheaper system, spent a bunch of money installing it. Sounded like crap, didn't look good, and upon my restoration, I just junked it. Gardner is the only way I'll go from now on, and this includes the '69 chambered system for my Camaro, which is much more than the Gardner system was for the 442. |

------I know it adds a couple of extra bucks but get their hanger kit for your application too. Makes the installation a snap!!!.........Bill S

Take it to Midas or Monroe and let them build you a stock system if you are not concerned with super original.
