With three of our family in the Canadian forces, we sure appreciate anyone who can remind people as to what our soldiers are actually doing over there. Dave has been in Kandahar since mid September and should be home mid April. We downloaded about a thousand pictures he had from the Kandahar area. Talk about a different world. These people have absolutely nothing in common with us other than eating, breathing and sleeping. There are camels, sheep, and goats. Lots of vineyards, and fields of marijuana and poppies. Terry Kelly seems to be our singer spokesman for the soldiers. This is more of a Remembrance Day song but remembering our soldiers should go on every day.
