Not sure where this part came from off the 69 granny car..I think it was an interior piece behind a door panel or back 1/4 window...can't remember...any one know..??

it's about 5" wide by 2" deep...

No, I was just asking what the piece is made of. Rubber, foam, heavy paper (like cardboard)? I can't tell from the photo and I thought it might help someone identify what it might be. Did I miss something?

OK, Pop

....the part is made from a thin gauge steel. There are 2 holes, the smaller has fingers that extend back about 1/2"..perhaps to fit into something ???? I thought you were referring to the background behind the part...it was laying on a piece of paper towel for the photo.
