67-9 Camaro Stinger hood orig vs. re-pop

I hope this is an ok place to post this...A buddy of mine recently purchased a 69 Camaro with a fiberglass Stinger Hood...the hood like the car is O L D ...How old I'd have to guess..maybe the hood is an original. Is there something to look for to determine whether it is a gennie or a re-pop? Thanks, Jim
