Default shifter hole

where does the hole go in the floor for a four speed on a 69? is there a cutout for the shifter? thanks jerry

In a 69 Toyota Corolla it goes just ahead of the seat belt holes.

If it is a Chevelle there are two different pieces that get welded over the floor cutout hole depending on whether you have a console or non console car. Tomorrow I can probably get enough dimensions to get you in the ball park for location.

if it's a VW or Corvair just push out the cardboard on the dotted lines.

That isn't where it is on MY Corolla. I think you are full of it. Charley, you must be thinking of the Cressida.

Oh, wait, you mean the 69 Corolla with the 396 in it (which you undoubtedly gleaned from his name which is MY69396) right?
