The dragstrip looks to be about three miles north of Assumption Illinois, about 1 1/2 miles west of U.S. Highway 51, located on East 1500 N Road. Had no problem finding it on the Google satellite. Seems the strip was closed in 1984 due to being short? 3000 feet sounds ok for everything but Top Fuel and Funny Cars. Go for it guys !!
