There is a small elastic strap sewn to the shoulder belt. does anyone know what it is used for???????

It loops around the front hook and provides the elastic tension to hold the shoulder belt up once the metal part is clipped in the clear plastic hook. Most of these are really stretched out and have no elasticity left in them. I got some black elastic from a sewing shop and had my wife resew the elastics on in the original location and they worked great.

Does the metal end tab hook onto the clear plastic tab or does the belt just hook over the plastic tab??

[/ QUOTE ] The metal end on the belt actually hooks on to the plastic clip and be careful....they break very easy and are very expensive to replace. I've seen the plastic clips on ebay for as much as 90 bucks for a pair. If you can't figure out how the belt mounts, I can post some pics for you.

![]() ![]() Not the best picture, but all I have right now..... The RARE plastic clip is now repopped by TRIM PARTS. Do not get ripped off on EBAY buying "NOS" when repop is VERY NICE!!!!
