Default Trucking quarters

I will need to replace the left side quarter and the right side door skin on my 69 El Camino resto. I found a couple reasonably priced quarters. I'm in N.J. and I've found one quarter from a fellow SYC'er (thanks Greg) near St. Lewis MO. Anyone have a good way to get the panel to me. I guess Im looking for someone who may be making a trip this way from St. Lewis.

OR!!

I also found a quarter and door skin in Buffalo N.Y. I know they can be a hassle to ship, so I'm looking for someone making the Buffalo to NJ trip...

OR!!

Maybe get it to Maryland, Penn, southern NY, or CT ect. Somewhere where I can go pick them up without driving for 16 hrs.

OR!!

I'd also be interested in hearing ideas on how to ship these big panels when they're not in a box.

Default quarter panel delivery

Bill,
I'm going to be heading to Annapolis MD the beginning of January and could bring that quarter panel along with me.
I'm assuming you are getting it from Greg Cullum in St. Louis??
Jim

Jim...That would be great. Yes Greg has the quarter. Email me or call anytime and I will do what I can to make that happen.. Perhaps we could get the quarter to the Chicago area. Would that make it easier? [email protected] 732-794-1060

Thats what I was thinking Dan. I know you make that trip from time to time. Any idea when you're going back?

If you run out of ideas Greyhound Bus Lines is the most reasonable. Also Kevin Bierman (musclecarkid) could also be a big help. He lives in Jersey but does this for a living. Nice guy easy to deal with. Sam

Bill,
I'm going to Oklahoma after Xmas and could get it in St. Louis on my way home.

Jim...I'll contact Greg and see if we can make this happen. Any idea what day you would be in the St Louis area?

Sam I know Kevin well. I understand Greyhound moves products. I'm just not sure it would get here with no damage. Quarters are fairly flimsy. I'd feel better about it if a couple car guys were doing the delivery.

Nothing against my pal Kevin. I guess I was looking for someone "coming this way" rather than someone driving all the way out to St Louis from NJ, just for a quarter panel.
