Default Worst VIN tag swap ever

Holy Pop Rivets Batman....

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Dodge-Cha...1QQcmdZViewItem

OMG look at the dash VIN tag cloesup. Looks like they made the VIN tag themselves. It has a "freshly sawed" top edge. Nice Home Depot 1/2" pop rivets, too!

Description from the Seller (Used Car Guy)

This car has had a lot replaced in the last few years to keep it one of the most incredible muscle cars on the road.

The car has the correct matching wheels to top it off.

This R/T will get you attention wherever you go, weather you plan to take it to the shows or just drive around and be the envy of the neighborhood.

On The road this awesome R/T drives like a muscle car on steroids!

The sound of the big 440 cubic inch motor alone is enough to make you smile.

Up and down the road the car does not pull to either side it just throws you back in your seat.

This car is a must have for any Muscle car fan.

Come get this car before These Mopar muscle cars get to expensive.

IF YOU SHOULD GET HERE AND NOT LIKE THE CAR FOR WHATEVER REASON, I WILL PROMPTLY REFUND YOUR MONEY WITH NO QUESTIONS ASKED.

ALL SALES ARE FINAL WITH CAR BEING SOLD WHERE IS, AS IS.

The President's Speech Writer must work there Part Time.....LOL

OMG! That's hysterical, I didnt even see the scotch tape:

And the mystery taper was nice enough to leave a latent fingerprint in the edge of the tape for easier incrimination.

Id love to see if the radiator support and cowl vins match the home made vin tag.

That's funny. Notice the purple paint on the VIN tag. Hard to tell in the picture, but I would not be surprised if that VIN is in fact cut from the cowl or rad support area.

What a shame if it really is what it is advertised. The fender tag looks legit and if the hidden VINS were intact and someone cut one of them out to make a VIN, they would have been better off having a state assigned VIN

The hidden vins only have the numerical portion not the full vin, smilar to what's on the engine block, so I dont think that's what this car has. I think this is a prime candidate for the next episode of CSI:Mopar.

You are 100% right Steve. The purple paint in that fake VIN threw me off. The cowl or rad would look like this B0165442
