Default a body tire help

Hi, my brother needs new tires for his 72 cutlass convert. Currents are 215 70 14,
2 questions.
1. can he go to 225 70 14?
2. I was going to reccomend bf goodrich radial TAs, but tire rack rates the firehawk indy 500s better??

thanks for the help.

John

ps i said to go with 225 60 14, he was concerned he would see too much wheel well.
Opinions?

Go here... http://www.kcclassicauto.com/1972_Ol...NV-152-Lg.html

Car has 245/60/14's if I'm reading the picture right.

Have 245/60/14's on my 72 W30. Look great.

I really like the old school Wide Ovals for the taller look.

Once I get a great deal on a set of steel wheels, I'll go that route for a change of pace.
