Not a 69 chevelle expert but if they are like other 69's the 4spd one will not have the heat stove hook up only the auto?? Perhaps a 69 owner will chime in.

Here is a correct one (no heat stove pick up) for a 69 Chevelle BB manual trans car. Looks like it will need a little work. 772 fans pop up on ebay all the time.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1969-Chev...VQQcmdZViewItem Phil Woj. ************ On second look, this may be for a 68 Chevelle BB 4 speed. I will go and compare it to the one on my 69 SS. I'm looking at the location of the breather air pick up and I believe it should not be opposite the snorkel. ************** |

My bad on the previous post. The link was to a 68 Chevelle BB manual trans car air cleaner (seller has it wrong). The same seller has one for a 69 BB car (manual trans), but someone drilled holes in the bottom for air flow. That might not be a bad thing.
Here is that link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1969-Chev...VQQcmdZViewItem Notice that the snorkel on this one is at about the 8 O'Clock position (when installed) and the breather air pick up is at about the 10 O'Clock position. Hope this info helps. Phil Woj. |
