Hey, Rusty! I didn't get to chat much with ya, but it was nice seeing some Olds guys out there.
I'm also 35, so I'm not so young anymore. ![]() |

That's owned by a guy who used to help out at the races but now he brings his own. He has owned a bunch of cool Fords like a '71 Torino GT C-code, a Torino N/W (a regional special that will appear in a magazine soon), and this, a base Cyclone. Cyclones are obscure, but base cars are the most obscure because everyone wants a Spoiler and they made GTs the most.
Another little-known fact is the base cars were analogous to the Torino Cobra. The Spoiler has not Ford equivalent. |

Diego, love the pictures.
I especially like the effect where the car is clear and the background is blurred. Great!!

I can't remember the whole story, but the car was used for some testing at Wayne State University in Detroit. That's what the seal is. Some guy at Mopar Performance found the car and bought it. It's a real 6bbl. car too!

They used it for crash testing...the white Mope would pull a car with a cadaver in it, get it up to speed, then WHAM! Pick through the pieces...
