I need the lower lockout rod for my 1970 Chevelle with a 4-speed.The last 4 numbers on the rod should be 5497.

Check with Chris White. Seems to me Chad told me he reproduced these and knowing Chris, they are exact copies.

Jack Seymour, The well known 70 Z-28 owner is the person who repops the 70 Camaro muffler hangar that GARDNER includes with there kits.......
Jack, looked into repopping the 70+ Muncie lockout rod, and said the "swedging" process was quite expensive to have replicated, and therefore did not persue it. Many 70 Camaro restorers will be interested to hear and see what Chris W came up with ????????
