The article actually states that they are owned by two different individuals. See p. 39... But it sure would be awesome to own them both ![]()

I actually grew up very nearby where these 2 cars "grew up"...although I'm a bit young to have been there, but I have friends that were there...If anyone else knows better, correct me if i am wrong about the details....These 2 guys had a speed shop for years in Bristol, pa...right on route 413....named Dunn and Grasso...bought parts there many times...(its an adult book store now)I believe there were 2 Graso brothers...i believe the one lost his leg in a blown clutch accident as I was at a local swap meet and a friend pointed him out as one of the 'grassos'...i had never personally known these fellows, but had the oportunity to buy the one car a few times...way back when i heard it was available from Graso himself...the price was make offer.. (probably could of had it for 30k)and then I got a phone call in the late 90's sometime I believe..from the then current owner in Florida who explained which car it was and offered the car to me at 95k...one of them shouda'-- couldas'....reality was I didn't have that kind of money anyway...hehehe....
But there was definitely the 2 cars both purchased by the same owner back in 1969...how cool would that have been!!! |

Is that true that automatics had hydraulic lifters, and were rated at 410hp by Chevrolet?
