Default How to deal with Ebay fraud

What is the best action to take against an Ebay seller who sells misrepresented repro trim tags, restamped distributors and restamped blocks. He has multiple usernames (6 that I know of) and recently sold a restamped 480 distributor for $ 750 to a friend of mine and also has sold restamped over the counter 272 blocks as factory JH coded blocks.
I'm not sure Ebay will be of much help. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Mark

Would this be Al Hill aka Fat Albert? Search this site and camaros.net and you will find a bunch on him. Last time I talked to him he bragged that he had 20+ ebay ID's showing several states. He really is in Jackson, Tenn though.

Yes Rich, the same guy. Its a shame that Ebay doesn't seem to care that guys like this are allowed to continue ripping people off.

Recently I had to contact Ebay to deal with a seller who was involved in act of fraud of an item I have for sale and they put me in contact with this department:

Can't speak for every dealing that is reported but this time Ebay corrected the problem.

This guy is a real piece of work. I got my money back from him ($9,000 +) by calling the tenn state consumers affairs office. He shipped the car/motor from his shop, "Fat Alberts", vs his house, which made it a business deal as opposed to consumer-consumer. They came down hard on him and he refunded all of my money.

Try calling them, as they have a "file" on him.

What really sucks is that he bragged about how many ebay ID's he had, and upon checking, in just one month I found over $18,000 in restamped parts/cars he had sold at auction. I collected all of the data and called ebay and they basically said to go fly a kite. In fact, he said that he already had the car/parts/motor that I bought resold! So, if you see a #match 69 L78 Convt Blue/ White Houndstooth check it well!

Good Luck,

Rich
