Does any one have a DZ 302 engine with a build date of early August 1969 ?

I am looking for a 3970010 4 bolt main block with a early August 1969 date code. The build date of the car is 08C.

Hello, anyone have a late July or early August 1969 DZ block for sale? I would consider a complete motor.I have a 08C car.

Doug, I would just try to find an 010, 4 bolt block with those dates. DZ is just a suffix code. All these blocks are pretty much the same.

I would be interested in a late july(69) 010 four bolt main also if anyone has one.

[/ QUOTE ]Yes to the correct car. But if it is not YOUR VIN etc on the block it may as well be just another 4 bolt block. It would be great if all blocks could find there original homes.

My friend has a DZ block he is going to sell soon.
I will have to go back and look at the date codes but I am fairly certain he has the complete shortblock.
Heads might be not Z28 correct originals but maybe a rebuilt set of 186 heads opened up.
Give me a few days to go see and I will post my findings for you then.
