Default fiberglass striping product?

We're taking the inner fenders of this '58 Fuelie down to bare glass. I have heard of a couple good brands for fiberglass striping but I'm curious to see what others have had luck with.

Thanks!

Default Re: fiberglass striping product?

I would say A very mild stripper or If you use something really strong you could go into the gel coat, and ya don't want that,Dont leave it on very long, and then hand sand, remember just remove paint, don't get into the fiberglass, Or the other way would be just start hand sanding until all material is off(paint)Then use A good filler primer Hope this help's Ive done alot of corvettes, got to be gentle or you'll end up in the gelcoat. Happy Holidays Mike
