Uber cool car, for sure. I wonder, though....why are people bothering to bid on it? It clearly states (in two places, no less) that the car is going to be auctioned and gives the venue where the auction will take place. They probably put a $500K reserve on it or something outrageous, just getting some cheap advertising thru eBay....and there's nothing wrong with that as far as I'm concerned.

Awhile back we did a Musclecar of the week feature from the Brothers Collection that featured their black 429 SCJ convert.
http://musclecaroftheweek.com/index.php/...scj-convertible Someone pointed out to me that it was incorrectly restored because it was missing the 429 emblems on the fenders. Notice this one owner car is also missing the 429 emblems.

My '70 429 SCJ Torino Cobra didn't have those emblems either, and the car was very original.

I owned a Grabber Blue 70 GT, 429 CJ auto car back in the late 90s. Original paint and no evidence of badges.

I know where a jade green one is. still with the original owner and hasnt been out of the garage in 28 years.
