Default Big Block power steering pump

Does anyone know the part number for a power steering pump for a 1970 396 in a Nova?Any help appreciated.Bob

I believe it's #7808283 used on 1970-72 BB Camaro-Chevelle and 1970-71 BB Nova.

Pump reservoir # 7808859 comes up as a 71-72 full size Chevy, all V8's.
It 'might' fit. ..... in the trunk

Steer away from that #859.(No Pun)
It's not a variable ratio and has a different bleed off then the #283.I tried putting one on my SS Chevelle,and it didn't like my variable ratio gear box...I blew it's seals within a week.
The #859 was later superceded by the #7826736 pump.
Our assembly line #283 was later superceded by the #7813397 in Oct.1973,so aim for it if you can't be assembly line accurate.
