Rick,

A fast question for you:

I am assuming the 375 refers to the 375th day of production
in the 1969 production year. How did you arrive at 1/10/69?

Steve

It's the day the unit was assembled as a whole,so it can't be later then the build date for the Vehicle it was installed in.It should pre date it.
You start within the model year that particular vehicle was built.
Jan.10th,1969 is the 375th day starting from January 1st,1968.

Yep, since 1969 model year production began in CY68, you begin from 1/1/68, as Rick said.

I believe 1968 was a leap year.
