1969 Hood Chevrolet Chevelle convertible

A friend of mine is looking to track down a car that he sold several years ago at the July Super Chevy in Indy. It is a hugger orange 1969 SS Chevelle 396 350 hp 4 speed car. It has a white vinyl top and interior,bucket seats with air. It's fully documented and all numbers matching with an exceptional frame off restoration. It was sold new at a dealership called Hood Chevrolet and last that I saw it was to be auctioned at Barrett-Jackson 2 years ago. Any leads would be much appreciated!!!!

It was also auctioned off at Hot August Nights in Reno a year or so before that. Nice car.

Was the car originally from Kansas with docs out the wazoo?

Yes, The car was from Kansas with lots of paperwork.

Yep, he made mention of selling it. At the time I believe he had just completed it. It was so nice I was wondering why he was giving it up so quick. I hope it turns up.
