Default Smog Tubes...

Need some input on smog tubes for my 70 L78 Nova...11/22/69 motor...3rd week of Dec cowl date. My understanding is there was a change over from the 69 style(front hose connection drivers side) to the over the valve cover arrangement. I like the look of the 69 style better but not sure how late that was used. Any thoughts from you smog experts???? Thanks..

I'm no Willow Run expert, but I've found the 1970 Chevelle plants were using the 1969 model year Hockey stick design as late as December 1969.
