Anyone know whether the 69 Z valvecovers were on the engines when they were painted? Like the big block Chrome ones were? I know that the Exhaust Manifolds did not have overspray but the intake did Right?
Thanks James

James,
------The only chevy orange overspray on a 69 Z intake or valve covers would be along the front and rear edge of the intake, if then. The valve-covers were on the engine for painting, but I cant remember seeing any "original" cars with overspray on them. The engine masks must have been pretty good. ------I say this full well knowing that I will probably be corrected by the experts. My area of knowledge is on Corvettes but the engines were all painted in the same way as far as I know...........Bill S |
