Default ls6 oil pressure sending unit

The oil pressure sending unit on my ls6 consists of the sending unit and 2 brass fittings. The sending unit screws into one of the brass fittings which then screws into a larger brass fitting that screws into the block. Is this correct or has someone changed it? The fitting shown in Ground Up's catalog shows a 1 piece brass fitting, not 2 like mine? Help!!!

Rob,
Incorrect. The sending unit screws into a 45* hex brass fitting.

Ok, thanks Rick. I guess the original owner probably changed it due to clearance problems with the headers.
