Remember Duck & Cover and Bomb Shelters?
Around here, most homes that were built in the early 1950's had Bomb Shelters built into their basements. Four 6 inch thick cement walls, reinforced w/rebar with a cement ceiling & door. My parents and cousins all have a Bomb Shelters, and today they are stacked to their ceilings with old junk. What else ya gonna do with them? Nice Time Warp Ken. ![]() |
