Yet another ebay scam

I have in the past received emails from "ebay" asking for credit card info, etc., and have always just deleted them. Now, I think some other type of program has infected my computer, and they are trying to get more info. When I try to log on my ebay account, I get the following message(with the ebay logo in the top left corner):

I'll be damned if I am going to give them personal info like that. I sent a copy of the web address and that page to [email protected].

Obviously, I need to clean up my computer. I tried to download the Microsoft beta version of Defender, but after installing, received a message that my processor was not compatible.

What is the best program or software to purchase for cleaning up the spyware, adware, worms etc. from my computer?

I have Spybot, it works, and it's free.

I also have AVG in my boot up routine, which is also a free program.

Best free anti-virus program, in fact, better than Norton or MacAfee for the price.
Then add the Google toolbar, which is a great popup blocker, and you will be all set.
My computer security is now set for one notch below paranoid delusional. I've gone for over a year without the fear of intrusions, mostly.

Thanks Andy. I downloaded a program provided by my IP and was able to delete one hijacker program, one virus, three spyware programs and about a dozen adware programs. I can now log on to my ebay account without the bogus message asking for all that personal info.

BTW, ebay would not accept my message to them because that address ([email protected]) will only accept forwarded emails that you receive. Since I was unable to log on to my ebay account, I had no other way to contact them.
