Z16 Chevelle Registry now live!

The Z16 Registry for the 1965 Chevelle Malibu SS396 is now up and running. It has taken a great deal of effort and 68 VINs (nearly all know Z16 Chevelles) are listed along with other interesting facts. Certificates are issued free of charge to documented Z16 Chevelle owners.

The Registry is an effort to help protect and legitimize the real cars (Z16s cannot readily be faked because of the unique parts) as a benefit to the hobby. So much deception and dishonesty has permeated the Chevy musclecar hobby that I wanted to do something for some of the cars I really like. I bear all expenses and responsibility for running the site, issuing certificates, etc. personally, but am not soley responsible for collecting the information presented. Chris Daniels of California is credited with collecting most of the VIN info.

Z16Chevelle.com has been up for about a year with much info. The Z16 Registry, which lists existing VINs is very recent. I'm sorry I didn't respond to your email, but if it was a story without a question, I likely read it with interest. Unfortunately, I get a fair amount of email and don't always respond unless there is something specific to address or a question asked. Like you, I have a living to earn, etc., etc.!! Thanks again.
