Default Red lines or not

Trying to decide if I want the red lines on the 70 Nova. I am going to run black painted rallys on the rear and Cragar SS on the front. I have the tires already, just am not sure about the red lines. How about some opinions from you guys. Thanks.

If it were my car Tony, I'd do blackwalls and Cragar SS's all the way around...that's how I remember them from the mid 70's, so I guess that is why I like the day 2 look done that way. Got any pics of the car to post?

The redlines are cheesy; you should sell them to me! OK, seriously, the redlines look extremely clean on anything from 1961-1972, although I would stick with the Cragars all around. I know the look you're going for, but a set of cheater slicks would look more appropriate on the black Ralleys, IMO.

And maybe repop Wide Ovals or skinny 78 blackwalls up front. Depends on the width of the Cragars. If they are 15x4" then skinny belted 78s, if 15x6-7" then lettered F70 Wide Ovals, Good Years or redlines in front. Bluelines might be something different and eye-catching.

My 2 cents: Blackwalls with Cragars up front. Silver painted rallyes (no caps or rings) in the rear.

Yeah Tony, cheater slicks would look killer.
Mark..There are a couple shots of the car in the Winter Projects thread.

Keep the ideas coming. I appreciate the input from all.

PS..Mark..was it the 67 you thought it was?

Yes Tony, it was the gold RS car that was on ebay last year. I think the price is a little steep still, but I'll probably eat my words this coming summer

Very cool Nova!
