Default 1112000 Distributors

1112000 Distributors were put in;
70 Chevelle, Nova and Camaro with L-34 350HP 396 and Auto Tranny and;
70 Chevelle, Nova and Camaro with L-78 375HP 396

so there were quite a few in circulation now my question is why do people think there worth so much? its not some small production run item.

I agree with you Donnie,
They made a lot of these 1112000's they shouldn't be that expensive, but how much do people think they're worth anyways?

I think part of the reason that these parts are so pricey is they fell prey to same fate as a lot factory parts: They Were Replaced With Speedshop Items....smog pumps got tossed, muncie shifters went in the trash for the better Hurst, points distributurs were exchanged for Mallory or Accel hotrod units, factory carbs were traded off for "double pumpers" and the list goes on. The 2000 distributor is hard to come by and rarely seen at the average swap meet. Just curious what kind of numbers are being thrown at you for this part???? Haven't bought any in a couple of years so I don't have a handle on current pricing...
